Computer Security prevents unauthorized access to the systems thus avoiding any kind of unwanted harm. There are various types of security, including ‘Security design’ in which the main purpose of the software being developed is to ensure that it is secure. Secondly another type of security is ‘Security by architecture’ which includes the accurate positioning of the design artifacts.

Programming languages are developed so that the user can input instructions to the computer. They allow users to invent programs. As well as the supervision of the machine in terms of its behavior.

Natural language processing often abbreviated as (NLP) involves developing efficient algorithms as well as mathematical models in order to process texts and make the information easy for the computer applications to understand.

Computer Networks

Computer networks allow computers to pass on information to another computer, or in fact many other computers. The data is transferred through the network nodes.

Theory of computation

Theory of Computation is the branch in Computer Science that is most concerned about as to how are problems solved using an algorithm. These problems are usually solved on a model of computation, which are a mathematical abstraction of computers.

Mobile Computing and Networking

When a number of devices grant users access to their information and data from anywhere, it is called Mobile Computing. PC’s, are now being replaced with devices that use mobile computing, such as netbooks, PDA’s and eReaders. Mobile computing generally makes use of wireless devices that have an attractive interface and are easy to use.
